Please someone explain this to me. Who has their staff follow them around with a camera to make a 3 minute hype video of themself doing their job? I love Bronco Football but this seems like a lot of "look at how great I am" behavior. Is this typical?

Bye.

We are in an era of constant, instant and unrelenting media penetration, much of it self-produced. Even if you don't want to do that kind of stuff, you' almost have to. Pretty harmless in and of itself

Drives me crazy too. 03-banghead

But.................

We are in an age of social media, and reality tv, I'd rather our program was viewed as a trendsetter in this medium, than continually in a pattern of following the leader.

It's not my cup of tea, but they already have me, if this elevates the program at the end of the day it's pretty harmless.

RE: Video
Thanks! Maybe I'm "old school". I've seen ESPN of course do features on head coaches. I could see making a video featuring student athletes or the overall program but this one is just all about him which seemed a bit self promoting. That's not my style but I guess to each their own.

Who? The guy who has the #1 recruiting class in the MAC every year. Like it or not, it seems to work. I've made my peace with it.

Well hopefully we do something with these recruiting classes this year.

Those videos are 99% for recruits, and 1% for people like me who love watching ALL WMU content.

Did you see Guido lay out Eddie Rolle in that video? Love it!

The video production team is doing a great job.

RE: Video
It looked to me in that video that Bellamy was not in the running backs huddle at the end. Maybe he's already practicing with the receivers to take over Braverman's spot??

It's not unusual for the coach to be the face... (See Harbaugh at UM, Saban at Alabama etc)... He's the guy that's usually there longer than any of the players who come and go... I mean other coaches out there in our program are posting fun vine videos and photos of themselves with the players...

If you don't already, I suggest you follow our strength and cond coach on Twitter @coach_Dweng.... Guy us a nut ball... Hilarious!

All in all I like what Fleck is doing and how he's selling our program to kids... And the community... He's really a one man marketing machine, and so far it seems to have us trending north, so whatever he's doing I hope he keeps doing it!

His stats show tackles for last year..is he new to the running backs group?

No, he was used primarily on special teams, hence the tackles.

RE: Video
odd thing is he is a senior and I do not remember ever seeing him with a carry. He looked good on that clip though and I am sure is someone who plays well on special teams.

RE: Video
I only remember seeing him at fullback a couple times, but considering they don't utilize the fullback position too often, he hasn't seen much playing time. And with guys like Franklin, Bogan, Bellamy, etc...why would he?
