Eddie Rolle also taken off, as expected.
Fabian Johnson is on the roster again. Not sure if that is a mistake.

Is it safe to assume that Matt Falcon red shirts this year behind Bogan and Franklin while he rehabs his knee?

I could see this happening. RB corps is deep, and we need bodies at LB.

Along with Pipp, we have Eric Rogers, Ron George and Jared Culp coming in. A couple of these guys look physically ready. Mitchell Heimbuch is also an accomplished LB who could make that transition if they needed him to from TE.
I will say I wish we weren't reliant on freshmen coming in at this point, but we've had some injury and attrition to this group in particular.

Mitch Heimbuch is another guy that I thought might be used on the defensive side of the ball. He played DE in high school, but could also be effective at LB. He was recruited at TE though and I think they want to use him in the same way they use Ernsberger. I guess we'll see what happens.
