They're better than that. I'd be surprsed if Wichita agreed to a straight up home and home with us.

We played at Wichita State a few yrs ago under Davis. It was a one game series. Wasn't a buy game. Davis just wanted his team to play in a hostile environment

Davis claimed it was not a "buy game" because the bank that was name sponsor of their new very nice arena (Intrust) paid UAB to be the arena-opening opponent, not WSU itself.

It was very effective. Always had Davis teams ready for the postseason.

Played Creighton home and home around that same time and Butler not long before that. It can be done.

I am a Davis guy, I enjoyed him, his offense was discipline and structured. Picks for the shooter, defense, hard nosed, but at times boring.
But, Davis could coach.....
Our current staff is getting better, I am a Hasse guy. But at times this season he have been out coached..unlike Davis teams, that were all about the half court, our current coached team, struggles in the half court.
This was a very good team that failed to show up when there was a lot on the table.. put that on the coach.

RPI has become a joke excuse, you can have the highest RPI out there and if you're not a Power conference school you will be left out

I agree.

You have non conference, cconference,and tournament games some none conference tournaments. They all require a certain amount of preparation and energy.
