I've enjoyed watching them this year on livestreaming.

They have really come along with a young team.

Future looks promising. http://www.wmubroncos.com/ViewArticle.db...=210976903

Not a word on MLive about Wednesday's win.

Broncs play No. 3 seed Miami today at 4:30 (ESPN3).

Broncos beat Miami 10-6 on, of all things, a walkoff grand slam.

I want one of the hats from today. But for some reason, we NEVER sell our baseball team's hat, but we'll sell every other godawful Adidas hat known to man.

Central and Eastern both won, but both face single elimination while Western and Kent are still in double elimination. Westerns pitching staff looks spent, but if they can get to Sunday they will have their ace, Keegan Akin rested.

So potentially we can have an all Michigan championship game. Although, I don't see Kent State getting beat but who actually thought Ball State and Miami would lose too?

Anybody want to have a conversation about who the best male athlete at Western is? I'll throw my 2 cents in for Keegan Akin right now.

Our Broncos are not playing well. Down 5-0 in the bottom of the 6th.

I might agree with you there. It's rare that you see such a polished athlete at the collegiate level.

It's definitely Davis vs. Akin vs. Wilder right? I don't follow hockey. Not sure if they have a dude like that.

Could throw Danny DeKeyser in there from hockey.

RE: BRONCO BASEBALL
Western down 7-3 in the 9th. To have any chance in the final they had to win this first game. Wasting pitchers by having to play a second game now, and will have to win two against Kent with basically a burned out pitching staff.

They're going to have to use Akin for a couple innings if this goes to a second game. They need to simply waste this game. The score doesn't matter, it's about saving arms for game two.
