A lot of rain in TX today. The TXST/Baylor game was moved up from 6:30 to 5:05 in hopes of getting the game in.

We're in the same boat. 40 percent chance of rain beginning at 8pm tonight. I think we're going to start on time though and just play through it, since it's not likely to be hard rain.

Unfortunately, this is our one two game midweek series of the year, and there is almost no chance tomorrow's game against a good Austin Peay team gets played.

Freaking rain. We took a 6-2 lead started top 5 against Austin Peay and it started pouring down rain 2 outs before it became an official game

T8th, 5-2 TX ST over Baylor

Eagles tied with KSU 8-8 in the 10th. nm, error leads to a run for the Owls.

4 run 8th makes it 8-2 TX ST over Baylor . . . Bears coming to the plate in their half of the inning . .

Eagles tie it up with the winning running at 2nd.

T9th, 8-3 Bobcats

AState game officially called off with us up 6-2 and 2 outs in the top of the 5th. The game never happened, and all stats are erased. Tomorrow's game has been cancelled as well. We head to Arlington this weekend, where I'm still not convinced all 3 games will get played either.

That is an incredibly difficult way to lose a sure win.

Rain supposed to clear out by late Friday. I think you'll get games in.

Ortega has really impressed me this season, I think we got ourselves a ball player in that guy.

Is it always raining in Jonesboro? Seems you picked up where you left off last year cancelling games.

In February and March? Yes. Weather patterns in Arkansas can be rather insane those months, could get snow one day and severe thunderstorms the next. Usually it calms down by April and we start to hit a more normal pattern.

Thankfully, we only have 7 home games scheduled between February 19 and the Georgia Southern series opener on March 24

There is a 90 percent chance of rain in Jonesboro for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Some parts of Arkansas are expected to get nearly a foot of rain this week. Thank heavens we're on the road this week, or it would have been another series lost.
