Charleston Cougars
Record vs. D-I: 15-13
CAA: 8-10 (7th)
RPI: 126
SOS: 113
Coach Keatts has begun his UNCW tenure with a 5-0 record against Charleston. However, several of those wins have not been particularly easy. 2 of the 5 matchups were decided by less than 5 points, with the most recent, on February 20th in Charleston, finishing in Overtime.
Nevertheless, the Seahawks have the better squad, and it should show up in Baltimore when UNCW faces the Cougars (who I expect to beat Delaware fairly easily). Remember, in the CAA Tournament last season, UNCW exploded for a 79-53 win over the Cougars. Expect UNCW to take advantage of Charleston's inexperience, as 2 key freshmen Jarrell Brantley and Marquise Pointer have never played in a CAA Tournament game.
It's tournament time, and as much as Cougar fans love to wear their "Beat UNCW" t-shirts, I don't see it happening this time. The losing streak stretches to 6 against the Seahawks, as we vault into the Semi-Finals to face the Towson/Northeastern winner.
Delaware Blue Hens
Record vs. D-I: 7-22

Marvin King-Davis and Kory Holden have been great on paper. Theoretically this team should have done a lot better than 2-16. But they did not because of lack of depth (at one time they only had 7 scholarship players available) and poor coaching (this should be Monte Ross' final season).
I do not give them much of a chance against the Cougars as a result.
