...Trying to renegotiate Tigers deal with the FEF.

Supposedly turnstyle for the uconn game was around 7k - and that was one of the better attended games.

I'd be surprised that anyone is currently touting our hoops attendance.

Historically it's been among the best in the country. Noone that I've seen has said something to that effect in months.

FOOTBALL attendance has been touted.

Am I missing something?

then CUSA went to 16 games and it became more difficult to sign home-home contracts...

now the AAC plays an 18 game schedule, and we have like ZERO wiggle room.

think about it...30 games (unless we play in a preseason tourney)...9 aac home games, 9 aac road games...that leaves 12 games, 9 of which HAVE to be at FedExForum

that's why we want to renegotiate...

I think this actual attendance info is in regards to the Tigers possibly wanting to renegotiate their FedEx Forum lease (discussed in thread below)...which shows payments to the Tigers would drop when actual turnstile attendance average drops below 10,000 threshold, one the Tigers probably won't reach this year.

tickets sold is still healthy, actual butts in the seats is not. Both will shoot down if a change is not made. IF a change is made, I think tickets sold stays about even with butts in the seats increasing.

This. Curiosity will keep people from letting their tix go if a change is made.
