RE: If the AAC Tournament started today
We are almost halfway through February, have a losing conference record and are tied with freakin UCF. Let that sink in for a minute.

When is the last time we were in 7th place in any conference in basketball? During Mo Iba's tenure?

The AAC is no better than the 6th or 7th best DI basketball conference this year.

First 6 seeds get first round/day byes.

Grudge match next Wed in Memphis: Knights vs Tigers...to see who has a left up on who gets the 6th seed and final bye spot?

We were the 11 seed in the 12 team C-USA tournament in Johnny Jones year. We did finish tied with several teams for 7th, but lost all the tiebreakers.

I think we finished 7th in C-USA one year under Calipari. It was the D Wash missed free throws year. That one year was an outlier in the Cal era, of course. Plus there were definite and unusual personnel issues that year (Sean Banks).

It's even more sickening when you consider that we have 2 McD's AA's on the roster.

They are producing like McD's but no one else is, and the coaches don't have an answer.

Didn't JP say that we were close to being really good? and that we are starting a new season. We are 0-0 after every loss. Let start a new season, go on a run and have fun, and make shots. Surely he can't be saying these things around the coaching staff. I wonder what they think of this type of coach speak...maddening
