That was a great game. Lots of back and forth. Amazing display of talent by both teams. SMU clearly has more talent and bigger bodies. I dislike Nic Moore (sit court side and listen to the crap-talking from that kid), but the kid can play basketball. His passing, threes, and his floaters very often result in shock and awe. Tulsa doesn't have the talent of SMU.

But we finally put a full game together. Took good shots, and made them. Took care of the ball. Stayed active and made SMU pay for mistakes. Blue collar basketball won the day.

That said, if Shaq could shoot the 3 --- he'd be unstoppable.

haith was very well aware of what was going on..

and the biggest allegation was that he authorized Shapiro to give a recruit 10k to secure his commit.. the booster got arrested the miami team distanced themselves from him..he got angry, left angry messages about snitching, haith got scared and paid shapiro 10k to try to keep him quit

ps the AD didnt tell them to make nice, the miami football coaches completely distanced themselves from shapiro from day1, while there were numerous pictures of haith and shapiro hanging out, shapiro even claims haith took him to a fancy restaurant to thank him for the 10k payment

though all of it is not verified, yahoo did a report to verify it and alot of what he said was verifiable, as shown with the pictures, the restaurant had receipts, and bank statements to verify their is some truth to what he said

I suppose the moral to this story is beware of hiring a coach born in New York. Brown, Boeheim, Pitino and (perhaps) Haith all from NYC.

SMU is running out of steam.
