We had our chances to win Thursday night but just couldn't pull it off. Doc has done a great job under the circumstances. Congrats to the Blazers.

Definitely agree. I feel bad for the guy and I hope he gets an opportunity at USM without sanctions hanging over the program.

Coach of the year, IMO.

Not sure he should get it ahead of Mark Price. 7 of Charlotte's top 8 players are either freshmen or first year transfers. All seven of those guys were added to the team between April and August, 2015. 3 freshmen start for us. These guys trailed Elon at home in the first game of the year by nearly 30 points in the first half. We lost to Michigan by over 50 points in late November. He has completely turned this young, unheralded group into a formidable team in the last 2 months. We have not lost a game by more than 9 points since early December and all but one of our losses during that time have been by 5 points or less (and that one was in OT after ODU hit a late 3 to send it to OT). His work with this team is nothing short of incredible.

Depending on how the season ends I think D'Antoni should be the front runner. Marshall came out of nowhere to be a legit contender in the league this year. Pretty impressive.

Great point. Mark has done a fantastic job.

I'll have to agree.

I respect what Southern Miss is doing despite still being in recovery mode, but Marshall came out of the blue and they're for real. I think he's definitely the one to beat for the award right now.

On that note, I'm pretty confident that Freeman will be the player of the year.

I had a feeling this team was going to put together two good wins this week especially after that road loss to UNT.

That was our best win this season against UAB. IMO UAB is the best around team in CUSA.
