If he starts him, we will know Caleb won 'best attitude' of the week.

Just looked him up. Did not know he played baseball for the Tigers.

Yup. You must not have seen his magnificent inbounds pitch to Dedric at the end of the game.

Yep, he's trolling. Done caught a bunch of fish. Josh may not be able to coach, but I love his F U attitude.

...except he said we had no right to expect elite 8 appearances based solely on the fact that we were Memphis.

Well, if he did start those two walk-ons, that would be essentially giving the Memphis fanbase the finger. As in "I'm the coach and you can't do anything about it".

Go ahead Josh, make my day! Either the guy has lost it or he is so egotistical that he believes that he is safe no matter what.

I think starting two walk-ons could get him fired immediately, in the current environment.

"that would be essentially giving the Memphis fanbase the finger"

He did that when he started Randall last week. He will not start his best five players because he ALWAYS has an issue with one of them. ALLWAYS.

I hear ya. He's just a hell of a great guy. Golly Gee Shucks. Makes millions and threatens to start walk ons with a F U attitude, sits and smiles and doesnt get up and coach during the last game just thinking of how much gratitude he has over the millions he gets.

Pastner is awesome. Such an awesome human being and not too bad a coach either. I hope we sign him up for life

The life of a fruit fly immediately springs to mind. I remember it was short, and therefore a good test subject for genetic experimentation.

Edit: Scratch that. I just searched lifespan...too long

trolling wont help his coaching, not one iota......and if you think he is trolling, watch him start the walk-on, promptly get down, then blame everyone not including himself for not "making shots". it is a big F U attitude and if you are proud of what he is doing to this university, then that is your prerogative. cudos to you both!

the season will play out and a decision will be made. right now, it's a shame that is comes down to 1 guy versus thousands. It's unfortunate, but he boosters and the university have to make a choice.

no one is happy or proud, but there isn't much one can do at this point than to just have a chuckle.

that's cool if he's just trying to say he has talented kids where he could start any of them...and drops the names of some hard working walk ons...with no intentions of actually doing it.

if he actually does it....ugh!

Well, not every position is open.

At least not the most important one.

WTF are you talking about. He is doing what many other coaches have done when players are not playing hard the entire game. Let's them know that NO SPOT is guaranteed. The OU coach did the same thing a while back.
