He was McBench tonight...picked up 2 quick fouls less than 2 mins into the game and headed straight to the bench for the rest of the half...kid's head wasn't in it.

Coach Jones finally admitted after the game that moving McBride into the starting line-up 3 games ago was a total failure...as he seemed to benefit from watching flow of game, how refs were calling the game and coming in off the bench at around the 15 min mark.

First time I've ever heard him called that. Don't know where your game announcer got this info. Frankly, your announcer sounds ignorant. McBride has worked hard to get himself into better shape. He's not some All-American-type player, but anyone who has watched him since his freshman year knows he has come a long way in terms of his endurance and improved his play, without question.

Matt has always been a great (albeit streaky) shooter. Good news is that he is in fact a FS Junior. Once we upgrade to BJ who is a PG defenses have to cover and assuming we get a new coach (fingers crossed), Matt could average 10-15 next year.

Yeah, nobody at UCF calls McBride names. The kid has a HUGE heart (insert jokes here), and has worked his butt off while here at UCF. I'm always amazed at the amount of touch that he has for a big man. Anyways sounds like the Cincy announcer came up with a good zinger. Your guys looked good in the second half btw.

Kinda touchy around here. I bet Mcbride would have no problem. BTW, I think that he would have had a bigger problem with the way segments of your "fans" made fun of how he and TAcko were the two slowest players to make it down the court on this very board.
