Why couldn't they switch Houston and UCF on UConn's schedule. Weather is a factor. The league screwed USF. Cold weather game after cold weather game

I was going to say USF got a break going to Philly in October.

What are you talking about. USF has no cold weather games.
USF's coldest games are:
Oct 22 @ Temple - Avg high in Philly on that date 65 degrees
Nov 12 @ Memphis - Avg high in Memphis on that date 64 degrees
Nov 19 @ SMU - Avg high in Dallas on that date 67 degrees
Of course it could be 40 degrees below average and ice like when you guys played SMU a couple years ago, but what is the likelihood of being 35-40 degrees below average again.

I think he meant to type UCF but even so it's pretty ridiculous to complain about weather

Football Schedules released today:
My only complain is having three Thursday games, in particular the ones at home, as usually tailgating kind of sucks on Thursdays.

You'll be complaining when you start out 1-2.

Even more disappointed when they're 2-3.

agree, however, there is no doubt that cold weather handicaps the florida teams. I think it is close to the altitude advantage that the Rocky Mt teams have.

ECU's schedule is not to bad. Home away home away all the way through the conference games. I don't like having an open date so late.
Cincinnati got the best time for an open date.

Shouldn't that September date be the 10th instead of the 9th? If not then there is a lot of Friday night games. Gonna be some mad local high school coaches and fans.

Interesting that ECU is the only school without a Friday game this year.

I'd rather have that than a BYE in week 2, then 11 straight (possibly 12 if we make the CCG). Pretty sucky either way tho.

You'll need that Week 2 BYE so you have ample time to prepare for Kansas.

Yeah having it after SoCar, V Tech, or before Navy would've been more ideal. That way we can sorta rebound after tough matchups or have more time to gameplay for Navy.
