Agreed. Bigger picture beyond this season makes a change necessary now.
If I didn't think it would absolutely stop us from hiring a good coach, I would tell him to clear his office out by noon tomorrow. And give Damon a shot. But that will not bring in new or keep current fans that we WILL lose as he will always be associated with old regime.

Not going to make a hire now anyway and many coaches like Roy Williams for instance, would tell his coaching tree to stay away from Memphis job as they fire coaches mid-season which is pretty much unheard of in CBB short of an assault with a deadly weapon.
