Weather permitting, the 2016 season starts on Saturday, February 13th at the Charlotte First Pitch Classic. Rockets are set to face Charlotte twice, Youngstown State and UMass once each.

Edit: Looks like I got the schedule wrong. Rockets will only face Charlotte once.

Tough day for the Rockets down in Houston. Lost twice (once to #24 Texas and once to Houston) and the games weren't close.

Rockets gave up four runs in the top of the 7th and lost to Iowa State 4-2. Iowa State's runs were unearned.

Toledo won MAC Softball Championships in 1985, 1989, & 1992. UT used to have a real strong softball program. I believe there was a salary dispute with the head coach, who then left UT, the program hasn't been the same since. Others on here (Terry) know the details better than I.

UT lost to Houston 8-0 on Saturday night.

Rockets face Texas on Sunday to wrap up play in the Lone Star State.

Toledo lost to Texas 6-3.
