furman called, they want their gpa smack back.

Speaking of Furple, we just stole their top recruiter. Most of our message board crowd had never heard of Furman.

It's already on Twitter that they pulled due to grades. I posted it over on our board.

Probably a CYA move.

No one pulls due to grades, you just sign and place with a JUCO.

USA did this week.
There is still alimit of 28 to amount of initials you can sign players to per class. You want to save those spots in case you need them later for blueshirts or mid-year signees.

It was a great recruit that came on the radar on Sunday.
According to Reddit, his offer to Alabama wasn't as an LB but rather as a Long Snapper that happened to play LB in high school. Will be interesting to see how he pans out in Mobile.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that Riley Cole was offered a grayshirt scholarship to Alabama as a linebacker.

Together we rise, right?

I just realized something that may be important. Some unrated profiles don't have highlights linked to them. When the 247 guys go through the lists to rate players, if the links to highlights aren't there they will just give them a 70.

If you see any unrated guys on your lists, DM me links to their 247 profiles and hudl highlights and I'll get them on there for everyone.

The key to these classes is who will be wearing rings at the end of their eligibility. Our seniors this year needed help holding up their hands with all the jewellery on their fingers. Hopefully this class helps with keeping that tradition.

If he had shown up for something like that here, we would have thrown food at him.

Very happy. A-State didn't have the most highly ranked class in the Sun Belt this year, or in our history (Malzahn pulled 17 3-Stars), but with our transfers I bet our talent improved more than any team in the Sun Belt.

I get giddy hearing coaches say that our WRs will be extremely fast and that everyone in the WR room is 4.5 or better. All potential now, but man the upside!

Echols-Luper is one of the fastest players in college football and everyone wanted Kendall Sanders coming out of HS.

Anderson even said RB Weh-Weh is 220 and runs a 4.4. Now I don't believe him, but still . . . he can't be THAT wrong!

Cornerback is the only worry for the Red Wolves in 2016, and we only lost 1 guy there (all Sun Belt Rocky Hayes).

Plus we are a shoe in for the all name team by adding the following to Money Hunter and Dijon Paschal:

Armond Weh-Weh
"Darth" Vada King
Javonis Isaac
Dajon Emory
We got Tyler "King" Tutt
Markeveon Coleman
Kumonde Hines
Kumonde Hines? Oh my.

Still looking for:
Rakeem Hightower - S - 3 *
Yafari Werts - DUAL - 2 * (bw GS & App)
Luis Martinez - K - 2 * (may not sign actual NIL)

Edwards and Michaul are both 3 star 247 hasn't updated them.

Then that is three, as Brinson is a three on Scout. Still going to depend on all the rankings not just one service.

If they don't include the composite then 247's score will be the only one they use.

Too bad Jackson didn't get much exposure to be rated. He's actually a WR -in 2015 - 50 receptions - 13 TD. Runs a legit 4.38. One look at his tape and he's instantly a very high 2 star, if not a 3 star. The tape is full of WOW!

Hopefully Edwards and Michaud will get the 3 star rating they deserve. Michaud may be the steal of the class. His year in prep school really helped. He's a chiseled 6'4, 225 with very soft hands and good speed. Edwards is a pancake block machine. Can't wait to see him add 25-30 pounds of muscle in the GS weight program. Former basketball player - excellent feet and quickness for his size.
