If Houston falters and Marshall runs the table or has 1 loss to UL, then of course they have a shot. I don't get it 03-confused

You are right, if UH loses more games after a loss to OU, but the way I see it, Marshall will have a tough time getting ranked higher than a UH team whose only loss is OU.

The article asserts a 1-loss (to OU) UH team would not be ranked higher than an undefeated Marshall and thus gain the access bowl.

Houston can survive a loss to an OU over a CUSA team with no losses, but they can't survive that combined with their annual Coog it game. UCONN says hi.

So true. And unfortunately, even if we were to beat OU, we likely would still be in serious jeopardy of losing the access bowl spot by losing to an unranked AAC team. It would hurt that much.

If there is one game and only one game I will guarantee UH will not lose, It's UConn at TDECU. You can mail in the stats.........

Poor ole Tulane, fresh off a hire of a guy who is so sketchy he has to hit the lowly Southern Miss commitment list telling lies that our staff is being fired.

But in the end tulane failed to take a single kid while our departing coach took a tulane commit.

While your delusions are comical, kids who pledge to USM would not make the grades to get into Tulane anyways. Enjoy your JUCO conference. We will continue to enjoy the big leagues.

RE: Marshall vs Houston for Access Bowl
I highly doubt either teams goes undefeated next year. Quite a bit has to happen for a team to win out, and a lot of it doesn't happen on the playing field. First off you have to hope for no off the field issues during the off-season, be it legal, health, or family related. Then your coaches have to be capable enough to motivate the returning players to bust their asses and not get complacent in the spring. Even if the Spring semester goes smoothly there's no telling how new recruits will mesh with older players. In UH's case, this is where having a few higher profile recruits could back fire. Just because a guy is a huge talent doesn't mean he's automatically going to fit in with your system and culture. So you have to pray the new guys come in ready to play and work hard. It only gets harder once the season gets going. Guys have to make their grades, avoid injury, and avoid upsets. In order to go undefeated you have to be good week in and week out. You also probably have to go win on the road 5-6 times. It really isn't an easy task, even if you play in a weaker conference.

They must be pretty dumb then. If they cant get into that community college set up as "Tulane University College" Set up to run your athletes thru.
But for the record the past two seasons one of our dumb players have been accepted into dental school at UMC in jackson.
You tell so many falsehoods your last name should be either Clinton or Obama.
