I just had a flashback to the movie Being There. Where Peter Sellers walks out of the decaying mansion he hasn't left in decades and comes out into a decrepit modern ghetto.

Nice accomplishment by FIU. I believe, since we opened in 1972, that we are one of the youngest, if not the youngest university represented in that Highest Research designation. Good stuff.
