We aren't taking this article seriously are we? He literally says that 0-12 UCF is being looked at. It would be a media nightmare if the Big12 added a team coming off an 0-12 campaign (No offense UCF fans).

You could apply Syracuse to that line of thinking for the ACC...it hasn't worked. Neither would you. Texas and Oklahoma aren't flying up to UConn to play a football game.

Neither was the Big Ten in taking Rutgers or the ACC taking Pitt.

Again reality is reality...and the reality is that UCONN is a serious Big 12 expansion candidate.

Again reality is reality...and the reality is that UCONN is a serious Big 12 expansion candidate.

Rutgers controls the NYC market by a large margin so it wasn't a terrible add. I can't speak to Pitt. UConn belongs in the Big12 about as much as it belongs in the closer SEC. Again it makes no sense, but the Big12 seems to have a habit of cutting off its nose.

Ucf used to regularly get 40k+ games before this last season. We got over 50k against Tulsa before.

Scarey when you and I agree. Lose those 4 and the AAC is worse than the 2011 CUSA we all gladly paid exit fees to leave. Worse yet, there are no decent replacement options. Yeah, lose those 4 and it's probably every man for himself.
