Signing Day banquet
I know we have some alleged 'insiders' on this board. Anyone going to the signing day banquet that football does?

It would be cool to hear what goes on!

Wish I could but I've got other obligations that night.

If anyone else goes I would also be curious to hear what it was like.

RE: Signing Day banquet
With DD gone, anyone know of live updates throughout the day as the letters roll in? I'm sure the coaches/players will be tweeting about it, but not sure what to expect.

RE: Signing Day banquet
This new crap-tastic Mlive WMU support is probably going to really hamper our ability to follow signing day... I suggest people start following the coaches on twitter... since they will likely be posting updates. I can only hope that somebody steps up in the Bronco Media department and gives us some info during the process... videos... breakdowns... etc.

I still can't believe some media outlet in GR or Battle Creek... hasn't snapped up this void in sports coverage... It would literally only take a single free-lance reporter to turn in info... post it online only... simple...

Same here. I would love to go and gather information to bring back here in the absence of real journalists, but I'll be busy at the time.

I would imagine there will be live updates on the official site. I think they've done that in the past.

DB, Dip, and I will go. Get reports-comments straight from Fleck and pass them on via BS.

Oh that is rich." Yeah so we all sat down and talked it over, and we decided to let bygones be bygones. Thanks for being so gracious and welcoming us to the event."

Right.

Regardless, here's hoping the class comes together.

RE: Signing Day banquet
I went to the wrong Heritage Hall. An empty, antiquated banquet hall. Had some good conversations with pan handlers though.

Seriously though, the pictures I've seen of the event looked beautiful. Heritage Hall is stunning; first class.

RE: Signing Day banquet
It was well attended, first class. Great food, PJ covered signing day in great detail, told neat recruiting stories, including video, got to meet all assistant coaches. I would highly encourage those interested to attend next year.

They have short videos of Fleck talking about each recruit here:

And it looks like they have a link to the full press conference too.
