Staff complete now...

FootballScoop---Southern Miss: Sources tell FootballScoop that West Georgia (D-II) assistant head coach / receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Desmond Lindsey has agreed to join the Southern Miss staff.

Personally I not overly excited about the new staff but there's a little bit of everything in it. The one silver lining to me if there is one is the final 2 coaches added have Texas and Georgia ties which hopefully pays off on the recruiting trail somehow.

As far as whose coaching what I would assume the OC is QB coach, the West Georgia coach would coach RB while the Texas high school coach would be the TE coach. I've posted it already but Pollard's position has me the most interested as he's always coached on defense yet he's listed as assistant coach while there are already 3 others on defense with listed positions....DL, LB, DB.

West Georgia was damned good last season, if memory serves.

is warranted and deserved.....marketing - as much as I dislike - is a necessary consequence....he's earned his dollar....

Saw yesterday or today where the AHC Billings will be coaching the outside LBs which means the West Georgia coach in all likelihood is coaching RBs.

Here is the final coaching staff. Will Pollard be the running backs coach? There isn't a position listed for him in this list.

Still baffles me that there's not a RB coach listed with spring training starting 3 weeks from tomorrow I believe.
