If you're going to say That Ryan and Bill are solely responsible for Zach Terrell's success... lol

Remember The stable of QB's when Fleck got here? TVT, Cam Thomas and Anthony Maddie -- all of which were recruited by Cubit. Even when he brought Chance Stewart in here thinking he was going to grab the reigns, he still pulled the trigger with Terrell. I think Fleck has proven he can identify talent at the QB position, AND develop it quite well. Just my two cents.

If he could identify talent he missed the boat on Stewart big time. Luckily Terrel was still here. Fleck went out of his way to keep Thomas from reopening his recruiting. So is that one is on him?

What was wrong with TVT? He lit up CMU in his last start before Carder came back, and then Fleck gets him, and he's suddenly aweful. I don't credit Fleck with chit regarding Terrel, Braverman, Currie, Moten, Beavers, Kristoff, Schroeder, Celeskar, Ishmail, Zamort, or Adkins.

I do question how Wilson, Thomas, and Stewart went from promising to expendable under his watch.

Stewart was about more than just one player committed to the program. Stewart signified "hype" and momentum and his committment meant much more to the overall success of our program than anyone will ever know... even despite him ultimately transferring. He was the glue that held our first glass together and helped recruit other big time commits. He was 4 stars, committed to a Big Ten program, a local kid, etc. It didn't work out on paper with Stewart but the mark that he left on the program was much bigger.

Strongly disagree with you on Terrell and Braverman... could make an argument regarding Beavers, Moton, and Kristof because of the current coaching staff's development of our running game.. but won't disagree with you on the rest of those guys.

But then who gets credit for Davis, Phillips, Franklin, Bogan, Spillane, etc. ??

Ohhh, so he knew all along that Stewart was a bust, but simply used his faux 4 star celeb to attract others. Come on, even you don't believe that.

I never said that. I'm saying Stewart signified much more than just one talented recruit.

Well of course he gets credit for them. He recruited them.

Just as Cubit gets credit for some busts, Fleck has had his share as well. Seabury, every TE, Stewart, the ND transfer, Van Dort, and several others.

Admiral has also had his share of victories against teams that finish with winning records.

Also has victories in a bowl and against Top 25 competition.

Those things eluded our program for a long time. No more.

Cincinnati, Purdue, Rice > Middle western southern eastern Tennessee

Yes, UT was top 25 for a whole week when we beat them. 04-rock

It's funny, this dump can't even get a game thread going, but if someone speaks ill of Peej the dead board lights up with traffic. 03-lmfao

Funny how this thread spoke ill of Cubit and you appeared. Seriously though, the Cubit threads are stupid. Bill did not hurt our program. He is no longer at WMU. Time to move on from the Cubit hate.

The difference is, 5 other versions of me don't "suddenly" show up to have my back.

Yes......and they haven't a word to say about Bronco sports until their hero is undermined. Then they magically appear "in unison" and quickly disappear when the dust settles.
