there are those that understand the concept of the old charter pint being shaped to the curve at the bottom of the spine....

we only do beerssssssssssss pre-game

once upon a time we got to beat the hotty toddied black bears....

(gotta cover all the bases)

I thought about smuggling a pint of bleach into the games in 2011 and 2012

you know what I did in '12 if you have sigs turned to 'on'....that was the worst of 'em all....bag, whiskey, and easy pass to the concrete so I could bark in that pos' ear.....

You'll get no arguments from me. I agree 100%. I believe the problem is the volunteer system for the concession stands. Every concession stand is staffed by a group who gets a piece of the profits for the stand. Lots of groups use this as a fundraiser. The problem is some of them aren't cut out for the job (can't do math) and whatever training they receive isn't enough. It's become a pretty big nuisance at the games, and I don't know if it is being addressed or not.

I really don't understand why MT doesn't do this. It's great revenue and, let's face it, we all could use extra revenue. Plus, everyone who has a box, including McPhee, has tons of alcohol in them. People sneak alcohol in every game. Not just 1 or 2 people, more like entire sections. Just go ahead and sell it and make the money.

Pretty sure we didn't have the option under the Tennessee board of reagents, that may change with the restructuring.

I don't think there'd necessarily be an increase in people "getting hammered". The people who would be drinking in the game would be getting lit in the parking lots before the game anyway.

I have heard it suggested that it actually decreases the amount of people getting out of control. People often get hammered during tailgating so their buzz won't wear off before the game is over. Being able to buy beer in the stadium allows for maintaining the desired buzz rather than having to drink in excess before.

I had sex with a chick named becky on the 50 yard line late one night. it wasn't football season. it was hot. it seemed like a good idea at the time, but she was cranky for the rest of the night.

becky: "dammit. I'll never get all the grass out of my panties"

Hey Green Steve, shouldn't you title be "Expand the beer sales" since beer is available for the "chair back seats" area?

This makes a lot of cents.

fify....

would it matter either way if viewing morality vs cents?

or is a dry county the way to continue?

dog-eat-dog it is time for....

I don't know if alcohol has anything to do with it, but Marshall fans are rowdy enough by game time. My concern, if the rowdiest of fans are the drinkers, drinking the entire game might make from some mean drunks in games we lose. Good for revenue, how mean the drunks get will determine if it enhances game day experience. Maybe they should issue 4 beer coupons per game ticket to keep some from downing the equivalent of a 12 pack during the game.

maybe you should realize koooo-pons don't mean doo-doo

all schools are losing revenue due to wtfe.....

none of any moral grandstanding will solve that problem...

however, it's cool to watch folks pretend.....
