Didn't he get arrested for Robbery on his OV to Georgia? I've never seen that happen ever in following recruiting

Yep, thats the guy. He was charged with a felony.

Your own school has offered and would take him if he wanted to go there

Can you confirm any of that? Purely speculative on both if we offered before or after his arrest and if we would take him. I'm not surprised he feels comfortable at usf, he will fit in.

Kinda nice being able to say that for the first time in nearly a decade isn't it. Well, enjoy it while it lasts.

Still going for the holier than thou...approach. LOL

You realize that is not really that effective when you go winless for an entire season and your current coaches are offering kids with borderline grades.

Gotcha...b/c UCF never gives coaches or players second chances

See Jose Jose...

Nothing has really changed with UCF fans....other that whole winless thing.

Bottom line: sometimes kids make bad decisions...go figure.

Of course it's a different thing when a grown man deliberately lies and consistently gets his school into bad situations....and somehow gets a RAISES and extensions. See O'Liar/Jones...that says more about the institution's values and less about the coaches who are not going to turn down a second chance...or in GOL's case third and fourth chances.

The aforementioned advantage is as excuse and irrelevant to the record, you are right. I wonder how long it will be until the record against each other becomes irrelevant as well. I wonder if, when Michigan loses to Ohio State most years, they still bring up the overall record since UM still leads handily?

We were caught, served the punishment, and the championships still stand. Didn't even get a post season ban. The BCS bowl win is still there too. Weren't you the guy that was just talking about second chances lol

Dude, chill a little, when your school gets a recruit that committed a felony you should expect a little light ribbing from your rival. It comes with the territory. Although, I do wonder, as was stated in the article I linked earlier, how many of his other offers were still commitable after his arrest and sentencing.

Your own school has offered and would take him if he wanted to go there

I'm following recruiting under Frost and none of the staff are even trying w him. The only current USF commit UCF has reached out to under Frost is that Ot commit from that Texas JC & that didn't happen till after he committed to USF a few days ago. For the most part UCF and USF are not even crossing over this cycle

I didn't mean for this to get into a flame fest

And about the Jose Jose situation didn't he sit out off scholarship for a full calendar year before getting a 2nd chance?

Don't get too far ahead of yourself or you'll end up eating your words. I did the same thing after a few good seasons, championships, bowl wins, and wins over that school to the west. Things can change in a hurry, for better or worse. Last time we went winless we were 8-5 the next year, go figure. Of course we can't stand to see usf success, usf fans did the same thing when UCF was successful.
