Yeah the fact that we'd have a rabid fan base the second anything even smelled like success is one of the more frustrating facts of being an ECU basketball fan.

UCONN plays their best basketball in March. Whether they "qualify" to play in March is another story...

SMU is unquestionably the best team in the league, but I think it's likely they lose at least once. Cincinnati should have beat them, but imploded. That said, if SMU ran the table, I wouldn't be completely shocked. I would put the odds at about 5:1.

On a side note, wouldn't it be great for USF to win 7 games this year and be in the NCAA's? They would have to win all four games in the Conference Tournament to do so though. It would be "HUGE!!!!"

I will make Bearcats#1 fly in with me. I don't know if they have airplanes though in his neck of Arkansas though

likely? no

anyone saying they are isnt familiar with basketball...the talent difference isnt that big between them and the rest of the league... in all likely hood they will catch one of the better teams on a crazy shooting night where everything drops, similar to how they lost to ucla....smu was a better team than ucla last year, but the white kid (i forget his name) couldnt miss a shot, literally everything was draining.....

the affects of up and down shooting by both teams, fouling out/foul trouble (refs) & the 3 point line make it almost impossible to go undefeated in basketball

Went to the grocery store tonight and someone said hey what's up pony 94. Yeah not too many SMU fans in Bee Cave. Outted by a Rice fan

i don't know anyone who doesn't know it is really unlikely. But when you just try to win one at a time it is interesting what can happen.

SMU lost to UCLA because they gave the game away late and had a bad and almost unavoidable break go against them late. It was so heartbreaking I felt for them.

Sad thing is, if they pull off what Wichita State did, I think this team could have gone undefeated the ENTIRE postseason, too.

Unbelievable.

You're giving us way too much credit. We're good but we're far from being that good. We will lose at least once to UConn, Houston, Memphis, Cinci, Temple. I even see three losses there easily.

Sadly, because of off-court conduct, SMU lost before the season even started.

Is there no way they can't switch their postseason ban to next year? That's what UNLV did in 1991 in lieu of 1992.

Would not be good for recruiting. Sucks for the seniors who had nothing to do with the secretary we hired from KU taking a class for Keith Frazier that didn't count for anything
