I've never understood why on Saturdays you couldn't find a single football game on FS2......or NBC Sports (w/ the exception of Notre Dame). NBC Sports is a freakin joke too...

NBC from Sep-Nov has EPL and NASCAR, they don't have room for football.

EPL is over by noon, usually a bit earlier...plenty of room for football...and they don't air Nascar every week on nbcsn

In Sep-Nov they do and you're forgetting 12:30 matches that sometimes are on NBCSN.

RE: Fox Sports 2???
All late games that I have seen are on nbc proper...I have never seen a soccer match on nbcsn at 1230...and Nascar isn't on nbcsn every Saturday during that time frame

Not a big deal...football for our conference won't be on that channel at that time

I'm more so arguing that that NBCSN doesn't have the space unless you want to play on weekdays. Also maybe off 2 weeks but with practice and all that it's tough to find the time for football.

What ticks me off is that if ASN picks up a game, and shows it in 4 obscure markets, the rest of country is blocked from streaming it from a school's online media offerings. ASN either needs to get their streaming capability working again, or we don't give them exclusivity and allow the schools to stream even if they broadcast it on one station somewhere in the middle of Iowa.

RE: Fox Sports 2???
NBCSports is seeking it differentiate itself in the marketplace by focusing on leagues and events that have viewership but isn't primarily covered by ESPN. NHL, NASCAR, PGA Pro Tour, English Premier League, the Olympics... NBCSports is THE destination for these events, and NBCSports isn't playing second fiddle to ESPN covering these properties. Airing G5 or FCS football ultimately undermines their market differentiation strategy. I look for NBCSports to abandon college sports entirely in the future.

Hey will keep Notre Dame and college basketball. Notre for prestige/ratings and CBK because they need winter programming.
