^ see...

if you have the audacity to say the AAC is a good conference...or maybe they should remember they have yet to actually win the AAC...or point out Pastner has beaten some top-25 teams...

you're a "douche"

maybe UConn should actually try winning the conference before they crap all over it?

really, calling Memphis players "thugs" seems like a condescending prick kinda move...

"Kembacity said: ↑
But their team truly is full of thugs. Burrell, Godfrey, Johnson are all 100% thugs, didn't see another name on the team last night"

that's the good ole, sweet, UConn fans...

or perhaps: "Memphis thug with the dangerous full speed from behind flagrant foul and this clown (Len Elmore) doesn't see the difference. Idiot"

In fairness to UAB, they made the NCAAs 9 times from 1981-95, when they joined C-USA. Made the S16 3 times, E8 once.

Come on man, UConn fans can be very condescending to Temple especially when it comes to basketball which is uncalled for

Did UCF beat USF tonight in a battle over Florida? Making them 2-0 in conference.

Yes sir. I will take the 2-0 start. But we travel to SMU on Saturday. We definitely have more talent than the last 2 years but still have a long ways to go to play with the top half of this league. 04-cheers

Congratulations Mike on a great start, if you get a couple more wins you will be considered top of this league.

I wasn't offended by anything. UConn fans are used to being in a conference with other teams that compete for national titles and this is definitely a step down for them. I think UH fans felt the same way after the demise of the SWC.

Can't take criticism? Prove people wrong.

nobody can blame UCONN or UC (or even USF) for being mad about the AAC, especially in hoops. In basketball we all went from the best conference of all time which had six to seven ranked teams at once at any given time, 8-11 NCAA bids annually and the conference basketball tourney in MSG which was an annual gala spectacle to this midmajor two bid piece of crap. ANY ONE OF YOU that were in the same boat would be jaded, skeptical, and salty as well. Let's not pretend you wouldn't.

Temple replaced West Virginia to join a conference with a basketball roster of:

Syracuse
Marquette
Notre Dame
Cincinnati
Georgetown
USF
Louisville
UConn
Seton Hall
Rutgers
St Johns
Villanova
Providence
Pittsburgh
DePaul

Before they played a basketball game all but UC, UConn and USF were gone. I’ll have to admit I’m a little bitter (jaded, skeptical, salty) about it also.

This conference isn't crap but it doesn't have as many powerhouses. There's also too many that never contribute much to basketball, including Houston.
