Like hell.
Shawn Elliott has proven less as a HC at this point in time than Tyson Summers has.
Oh wait, he's an App guy....you're going to felate him no matter what. Nevermind.
I'm not sure that being an unknown commodity is worse than being known as 5-7 Tyson Summers. Georgia State has had Southern's number. They have their own stadium now, are in Atlanta, and are a research institution. I believe with Shawn Elliot and Charlie Cobb, you will likely see an improvement of the program unlike what occurred with it's previous administration.

Yes they have their own stadium, which may work in their favor now. Before they did have an issue by teams getting hyped up to be put in the Falcons' locker room as the visiting team and knowing they were in an NFL stadium. Yes they're a research institution, but that don't mean **** on the football field. Yes they are in Atlanta, but that hasn't meant anything really for them so far.....we still recruit Atlanta as well if not better than we always have and a majority of our fanbase is in Atlanta. Gast hasn't been able to get local media attention due to under performance (admittedly could change with wins) until they got the Turner property because the city was interested in what happened with it.
I wasn't really impressed with Elliott's interview with our radio crew. He insisted they're going to run the ball no matter how good the OL is, that Connor Manning is the starting QB and they expect running production from that position although it was pretty obvious last year that he couldn't run effectively, and they also still don't have an answer for what they're doing with the running position. He may in fact improve them dramatically, but it will in no way be fast.
As for them having our number......in 2015 they had a good offense led by a good QB, as much as it pains me to admit it. I'm not sure what happened with us in that game, but everything about that game was a statistical anomaly. Gast played really well and took it to us the whole game. I still don't have a real answer for what happened on our side. Last year there is no real answer for either team. Both of us were trainwrecks, that game came down to who was going to suck the least on that day.
I do think this year will be the first time that, when we play each other, BOTH teams will have competent coaching staffs. That hasn't been the case for the first 3 meetings. It'll be interesting. I'm definitely glad it's at home this year though.

Are you talking about this season or going forward in general?
If you're talking about in general I'm not sure why it's just us who needs to be concerned. Shawn Elliot appears to have been hired for one reason...to recruit, and he seems to be doing fine so far. You guys recruit Georgia and having Shawn Elliot at State means you'll probably lose some guys to them within the next couple of years.
If you're talking about this season, well, their improved recruiting and new stadium probably aren't going to really come into play yet, unless State has newcomers at QB and running back who can improve a good bit over what they had last year.

Chill bro. You're really going on a crusade today.
3 posts = crusade?
Took it from banter to offensive pretty quickly. When fellatio is brought up without it being tong in cheek, it's probably time to take a step back.
Hatred for App never ends.
Edit: Also rich from the guy who took the time to put together a top ten list of why he thought Georgia State was better than Georgia Southern and presented it in class.
Lol. I think you might be confused? That's not a thing I've ever done...
Like I said, crusade.

One thing I'm confident about is Elliot will have the team fired up. Now can he keep his emotions in check as a head coach remains to be seen.

Is it going to alternate darker/lighter or just be one color green?
I've always been partial to the alternating light/dark, and is what I thought we were doing with ours but it came out all the same.

Paulson does alternate, or so I've been led to believe. The problem is the two shades are so similar it's hard to tell.

If it does alternate it's VERY close.
It still looks good either way. But in the pics above you can see an obvious difference already.
Hopefully it stays that way after putting in the infill.

Only big thing I've noticed is that like most converted baseball stadiums, there will not be much room between the back of the End Zone and the stands.

The last turf App put down was alternating. Being old school I like the solid better.

Paulson's turf does alternate but it's hard to tell in the stadium because of the infill but if you look at a drone shot from above it's easier to tell.
