I like the additions of TXST and ASU or USA.
I don't think USA would be on the menu this time around. UAB is coming back. My understanding, which might be flawed, was that USM didn't object to USA because UAB wasn't around and they wanted someone close. UAB might object to USA as well.

Its entirely possible CUSA, even if they lose Rice and UTEP, simply use this as an opportunity to 'right size' and hang at 12. With 2 6 team divisions, they'd get the chance to have a permanent cross division rival. So the East could be Marshall, FIU, FAU, UNCC, ODU, and WKU. And the West could be MTSU, UAB, USM, LTU, USM, UTSA, and UNT. MTSU and WKU could be permanent rivals. MTSU would lose its annual matchup with Marshall, but would regain access to Alabama, where it recruits. Or just switch it up.

I'd expect if CUSA decided to backfill, that they'd try to do it with 2 teams that could fit in the West. Texas State, ULL, stAte, and Georgia State would be on the menu. But all of them have potential blocks, one of them might not be interested, and the other might have issues with votes even before a block.

I'm concerned, but I'm starting to think that this might simply be something that might just stop with the MWC going to 14 and CUSA going to 12.
