Freaking Great 30 Days for the league
In 30 days time two of our newer members have had the shell busted, App now has AState in the target zone after football and volleyball were beaten in Boone while carrying a perfect league record.

Now Georgia Southern has someone other than App to look at as a target thanks to a home loss to Georgia State that vaulted the Panthers into a bowl, almost certainly the bowl many Georgia Southern fans wanted to play in.

That this stuff that builds a league into an entertaining entity.

I'm still sore about volleyball.

In football, you had the better night, many props.

I feel greater kinship to App and GaSo than I ever did FIU/FAU/MTSU. Only cared about UNT because I'm friends with their site owner. Being non-urban/suburbs schools that love their football gives us common ground.

Good news for App and GaSo is your world has just become larger.

It's so much more fun to have teams and fans that actually care. Had we beaten FAU or FIU by that score, it would have registered a tiny blip on the radar in Florida. Beating you guys in Boone was like setting off a series of large explosions.

You guys will be nothing but bound and determined to beat us now, and we'll get enough smack out of that to create a rivalry that our players can finally get into that's not against ULL.

All we need to do is take a couple wins from Southern the next couple years and things will be really cooking.

Rivals are competitive. Our series is tied at 1-1... with what appears to be a two year hiatus. Which is BS.

And could be longer with divisional format.

Good God, Boone the first week in December is frightening. We'll have to finish with the better record so we can get you guys off the Mountain.

Yeah, its a shame that we won't play next year, but I'll look forward to playing the rubber game in that first conference championship game in 2017.

Very excited about the future. The conference is growing up a bit. We've got a solid top three, ULL will bounce back from this down year, GA State is a whole new team, Troy will be back, USA is just so close to being good, its looking up! Lets go 4 for 4 in the bowl games! Good luck to everybody.

I'm not sure why people keep saying 'the bowl GS fans wanted to play in.' Regardless of Saturday, we weren't going there. It's the lowest of the four bowls, it's on CBS Sports Network...
