AP poll - 3 teams ranked, 2 receiving votes
http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/po...w--?poll=1

17. Houston
20. Temple
22. Navy
30. Memphis
30. USF

Could end up with 5 ranked teams in final poll.

Interesting that no Cusa team is ranked even at 10-2. Says much about the perception of that league imo.

And Andre Ware actually said, on air, that UH's decision to leave CUSA was a HUGE mistake.

That is because C-USA is a garbage league with garbage teams. Not one school in that league could win one game in the AAC, not one. I think it is time to stop mentioning those leagues like they are our peers, they are not even in the same universe as us. We need to start mentioning the ACC or the Big Ten in the same breath as the AAC. That's more in line with who our peers are.

It's cause WKU lost to IU. :( I understand why we aren't ranked because of that loss.

I think it's because Cusa has an image problem. If I am correct Cusa is the only league to not have a 10-2 ranked this year. That is more than just not beating a bad P5 team. We will never know how good WKU is because they have played many Cusa bottom feeders.

I think with the credibility the AAC received we could easily have a couple teams ranked in the preseason.

And Andre Ware actually said, on air, that UH's decision to leave CUSA was a HUGE mistake.

The phrase "its the system not the qb" was coined for andre ware. He lives in the unfinished bssement of the heisman house

Better than being in the penthouse for those who never sniffed it. That said, Ware was the quintessential system QB that almost anyone else could have been plugged into and produce similar results.
