3. East Car 43,274
4. Cincy 37,096
5. Houston 33,731**
6. Navy 31,669

9. USF 26,758
10. Tulane 22,930
11. SMU 21,043
12. Tulsa 19,622
Congrats to Temple for winning the attendance war. Temple, Memphis and Cincy had their highest average attendance EVER. Houston's average is its best since 1979 (11th best in school history).
**Assuming Houston draws ~40K for Temple, that average will rise to ~34.5K (still 11th best in school history)
Other G5 schools > 30K
Boise 33,612
SDSU 30,417*
* Might have another home game for MWC title.
************
So across all of G5, the American had the five best attendance averages. Boise comes in 6th.

Meh, not bad for 0-12. 2016 could be worse, though, especially if there just aren't any indications the team has a pulse still.

Our Top 9 would be the leading attendance in every other G5 conference outside of the MWC.

Close. I believe Southern Miss averaged 28K this year. Marshall was 2nd in CUSA with 26K.
UTSA, which some were so gaga about, dropped to 23K this year. Turns out, even in a non-NFL market, no one cares about minor league football unless it's brand new or you are kicking ass.

Hard to put much stock in those numbers. When you see Tulane reporting average attendance at 23,000, then you have to have a dose of cynicism. Tulsa and UCF numbers look questionable also.

Aside from Tulane and maybe SMU and Tulsa, I'm confident these are reasonably accurate "tickets sold" numbers.
No one reports butts in seats, if that's your complaint.

Will people in Tampa "get on the bus" next year and buy 4-5K more season tickets?

You weren't at the games. Remember we were averaging over 40k for the first several games. Our turkey day game drew better than expected. Thanks an 0 and 12 season btw

attendance changes the next year after fans have a chance to buy or not buy season tickets. Be careful my friend UCF hasn't experienced the effects of their 0-12 season in selling season tickets.
But thanks for caring about our attendance

RE: Almost Final Attendance Numbers
Memphis 6 home dates.
1 60k crowd
1 55k crowd
2 legit 40k+ crowds
1 announced 30k crowd that was really around 22k (rainy, Halloween night)
1 announced 30k crowd that was really around 12k (hard rain, 11 am, Thanksgiving weekend, coach gone)
we did good.

In 2005 they did...and attendance turned out to be pretty good.

Well good for you. Unlike you and some of your fans I couldn't careless what another school announces or are actually there.
So rock on. I'll take the 5-2 record on the field head to head than attendance numbers.

LOL good thing for you UCF doesn't have to report butts on seats because as we saw this year's those numbers announced are questionable.
Maybe dancing girl counts for like 1000 UCF fans
But I really don't care if they are or not. Doesn't impact me. So as I said you guys can keep talking attendance smack , I'll take the 5-2 head to head.

new AD Danny White is going to have an aggressive marketing campaign to get the crowds back & it will work at least for the first couple home games

UCF usually counts 12K students whether or not they are there, the rest of the numbers are usually accurate
