Genuine question.. The committee loves TU's loss to ND so ignore it, then say USF is a better loss than UConn is, and beating penn st. counts as much as beating navy (p5, duh), and then it makes perfect sense for Temple to be ahead of Houston.

Well considering Temple is ranked and UH isn't how would UH jump ahead of Temple? Temple has a better strength of schedule than UH.

Houston just beat the 15th ranked team, and 2 weeks ago Houston was the 19th ranked team before sliding all the way out after the only loss.

The rankings have had Houston many many spots below what we are ranked in the AP / coaches every week.

Will be anyone's guess as to what they do since we creamed navy.

Houston will be favored and higher ranked. Fine with me and the giant-killing Owls.

Does it matter? It will be settled on the field

Cuban Bull is right. It doesn't matter a bit. The winner of the game will be the highest ranked next week and more importantly get the access bowl spot.

If the Irish had won last night, I guarantee you that the committee would have bumped up Temple and kept Navy in the top 25 in order to prop up ND. Now? Who knows?

If they drop Navy out of the top 25 it would be a crime.

It doesn't matter, but it will be interesting to see.

The committee has shown that just because you were ahead of someone last week, and you both won, doesn't mean you will still be ahead of them next week. We have a better record, our only loss was without our (and the conference's) best player, and we finally have that big, "statement" win. Temple has nothing to compare to a 3 TD win over a top 15 team. We should be higher.

I think Memphis should jump back into the polls.

Agreed.

They can't drop Navy, I want to beat a top 25 team.
