Nebraska for sure..they always want another game and no one travels better. If WMU faced Nebraska, what would the spread be?

Here's 5W teams and what's happened:

East Carolina - L [5-7]
Old Dominion - L [5-7]
Illinois - L [5-7] (Likely; losing solidly so far)
Minnesota - L [5-7] (Likely; losing solidly so far)
Kentucky - L [5-7]
Nebraska - L [5-7]
San Jose State - L [5-7]
Buffalo - L [5-7]

VA-Tech - W [6-6]
Indiana - W [6-6]
Washington - W [6-6]
Tulsa - W [6-6]

STILL TBD:
GA-State - W [5-6] (@GA-SOUTHERN NEXT - Should Lose)
Kansas St - W [5-6] (W. VIRGINIA NEXT - Maybe Lose/Close Call)
South Alabama - L [5-6] (APP STATE NEXT - Should Lose)

I like the APR metric coming into play. It rewards loyalty and recruiting character up front.

Georgia State is bowl eligible.

They took Ga Southern to the woodshed, on the road. Didn't see that coming. Southern's board is imploding over this.

Trent Miles might be onto something at Ga State. They were terrible last year. Miles turned around Indiana State before this gig. Will be interesting to see his future trajectory. Recall that it was originally and wrongly reported he was to be WMU's new coach.

RE: Which (and how many) below .500 teams will be in bowl games?
Georgia State ended the season on a 4 game winning streak, which is impressive considering their terrible start to the season with losses to Charlotte and FCS Liberty. Miles is turning that program around. For reference, GSU was 2-33 over the previous 3 seasons. The 2 wins were against FCS opponents, including a 1-point win over Abilene Christian last year.

On the other hand...what the hell happened to Georgia Southern...is their coach slated to go somewhere else? Was his head not in the game or at practice all week? Crazy bad beatdown at home.

The 125th ranked Georgia State rushing attack outgained the 1st ranked Georgia Southern rushing attack, 143-135.

Willie Fritz, Southern's coach, is a helluva guy. He is one that knows how to coach them up and doesn't look for the next opportunity. He adapts to the personnel he has (my mom taught at SHSU, where Willie previously coached, and I know one of the guys on the hiring committee at SHSU ).

Mizzou announced it will not accept a bowl invite.

Imagine an institution of higher education doing that.
