Eight if Lynch goes pro.

If the new coach can recruit/develop a QB, Memphis should have the talent to avoid a UCF/Southern Miss like decline next year.

I'm predicting 6-6 to 8-4 next year for the Tigers.

They barely made a bowl this year with an NFL QB, they will hire some scrub and win 4 games most likely.

RE: Memphis loses seven starters
This season Memphis came in with a depleted defensive unit... Pretty sure Lynch is gone next season along with many starters/seniors.

I say Memphis is lucky to even hit the 500 mark, 6 wins.

My 16 Memphis predicttion
5-7 or 6-6

Y'all are engaged in wishful thinking.

Memphis is the right coaching hire away from being BETTER next year.

We'll see how well they hire.

Lol. Why are you Houston guys so eager to say Memphis falls back? Why do you even care? Win 4 to 6 games? We'll see.

I'm thinking SK got under your skin a bit too much.

I would agree, if Memphis next QB was similar to Lynch, a 6'7" frame with plus average mobility that and a respectable defense.

Even if a Les Miles type was hired, still will need 2 years minimum to speedup that program back to normality... I just don't see it.

That's why uncontrolled trolls are bad for a board. That's what the smack board is for. I find myself coming here less and less.

UM may already have the next stud QB just waiting for an opportunity.

Seems some are substituting wishful thinking for logic and are acting like trolls.

It's the people that are poor at "trolling" that are the problem. Intelligent humor is entertaining. The issue is that there are suddenly a ton of folks that aren't smart enough to figure out when to turn it off/on or how to speak in satire.

Just curious, why are Houston fans so enamored with Memphis suddenly? There's no denying it, it's real...I just don't have a clue why Memphis is at the top of Cougar fans' minds so often.

If we lost say Ward n Herman next season along with our top linebacker senior Roberts and our incoming 16 recruiting class was a bunch of 2 *'s

How good you think Houston would be next season??? I can tell you this much, we won't look good at all, we'll be lucky to get to 6 wins too.

It's fun actually, if we can tone down the over the top stuff, and stick to debating topics. And stop taking SK so seriously. He's kidding around, just like BC#1. If you don't want to play, don't respond to him, and don't take him seriously.

I think it has more to do with repaying some of the trolling that Houston was getting earlier games ago, Oldtiger

Good excuse. Do it to SK. He's the only one I recall doing that, and anybody who takes him seriously just isn't paying attention.

Before Houston trolls, they may want to wait and beat Temple first. Cause if they dont, then memphis is going to a better bowl than Houston.

So suck on that.
