Don't count on it. Most of our starters are returning, we have a stud QB waiting in the wings, and it's possible last year's DC, when we were great on D, will return as HC. And our OC is staying.
80% of your 16 recruiting class are 2 *'s... On the QB you calling a stud, if you referring to the one who came in the second half vs SMU, yikes.
Red shirt frosh dick lips.
I actually #snicker(ed)
What was wrong with what I said?!? Yall's 16 recruiting class is full of weak 2 *'s, it stinks... FuenteS knows he was going to have a crappy team next season that's why he's bailing out now.
Houston for example; Ward is back next season along with a pretty impressive 16 recruiting class, if Herman left today our next head coach may pull this year's same exact record but with better players.

Wow...what a blue chip stud.
Lol and Lynch only had one offer, we are good at finding diamonds in the rough.

Probably a good time to go with Paxton leaving for the NFL. Sucks for the league though
USF moves up while Memphis drops to their usual spot, near last.

Stud QB? The kid has no game experience. You have no idea how good/bad/average he'll be.
Are you serious? Then why have recruiting and rating stars, lol? He may be a bust, but it is unlikely. He'll have a learning curve, but so did Lynch. BTW, a lot of folks predicted Lynch would be good, too. Guess they just got lucky.

Shows what you guys get from assuming. Holgorsen is the backup you saw, NOT the redshirt freshman.
And Davis didn't get huge offers b/c he is a Memphis legacy, and declared a year early. According to Davis' HS coach, he had interest from a number of SEC schools. And he set all kinds of MS HS records for Starkville High.

Wow...what a blue chip stud.
How many did Paxton have? Hell, how many did DeAngelo have?
Brady Davis is a highly rated G5 QB...I can't wait to see him play.
Losing a coach because he wins is FAR better than the long string of failed, fired coaches.

Really ****** of ESPN to not let him announce on his terms so he could talk to the players
ESPN is in the business of breaking news, not protecting people's feelings.
If Fuente was so concerned about letting the message out on his terms, he shouldn't have taken a new job in the middle of the season.
I don't understand the "shock" the everyone in the media that knew didn't sit on this info till after the game is over.
I can't remember the last coaching hire that was kept in secret till the official press conf announcement.
So many (at Va Tech and at Memphis) knew this...of course the news was going to break.
Remember that bowl game in Mobile, AL (I think) when it learned that Louisville's coach was taking another job?
Of course the media is going to spill the beans if they find out.
If you want to blame anyone, blame Fuentes and his attorney...because they could have just refused to meet with VT till after the last regular season game was over but it was pretty obvious that Fuentes agent/attorney was hungry for a deal (last few losses probably help that) so they got it done before today.

Yes, UCF two years ago was a good example. UCF lucked into an NFL calibre QB and road his arm, but their fans mistook that for great coaching and and having developed a permanently successful program.
That's why UCF won the conference the very next year without Bortles... (and were a UCONN upset away from repeating New Years bowl appearances)
Didn't UCF back into a 3-way tie last year thanks to some kind of hail mary play at ECU? Then crapped the bed in their bowl game against the 9th place ACC team?
We almost blew a 26-9 lead over ECU in the 4th quarter. We dominated the whole game and then nearly threw it all away at the end.
You dominated the first half only. ECU dominated the second half. Which is what better teams are able to do, even when down. Or at least that is what UCF fans claimed happened against UL the year before...

ECU didn't rally until the 4th. We extended the lead in the 3rd.

Bortles was an important piece of that puzzle but that team had around 12 guys sign with NFL teams between 2013 and 2014
