...Jeff Schemmel, former AD at San Diego State who you may or may not recall resigned his position in 2009 for misuse of university funds (he used school funds to visit an alleged mistress in Alabama), is now leading the search for ULM's head football coach

For ULM to be successful they need a coach that has been successful, I think they got them in a situation where they hire Division I-A coaches that have been fired look at Weatherbie, and Berry.

ULM was successful at one time when they were division I-AA even won a national title. Automatically if I was the AD at ULM. I am already thinking we don't have the facilities, we are working with less then other Division I-A football programs. We need to hire a coach that has been successful that is working with less.

Thats why they need to go after the coach for Jacksonville St. or McNeese, or anyone that has been successful at the Division I-AA level. They got to get back to what made them successful before they made the jump.

I'm down with the misallocation of money for a mistress. IMO ULM needs a coach picker, not a preacher, or a saint.

Louisiana was fine with a guy who likes hookers to do our national bidding in congress, but sure as hell ain't letting him run the state house.
