RE: Your Bowl Eligibility Watch thread
Figured i'd update this even though it's moot for us now. Due to the following losing and being at best 5-7, there will be AT LEAST 3 5-7 teams going to bowl games.

ECU (lost to UCONN)
Texas (lost to Texas Tech)
Nebraska (Lost to Iowa)
Illinois (Lost to Northwestern)
Minnesota (Lost to Wisconsin)
Old Dominion (lost to FAU)
Buffalo (Lost to UMASS)
SJ State (Lost to Boise)
Kentucky (Lost to Louisville)
Missouri (Lost to Arkansas)
Louisiana Lafayette (Lost to Appalachian State)

And it will be the three teams with the largest fan bases, not the three teams most deserving. Although, at 5-7, or even 6-6, NO team is deserving of a bowl game.

Nope, it'll be the three teams with the highest APR. The NCAA was at least smart in setting up for this possibility.

I really like that APR clause. For many reasons.

These are the top teams by APR that could finish with five wins

985 -- Nebraska (5-7)
976 -- Missouri (5-7)
976 -- Kansas State (5-6)
975 -- Minnesota (5-7)
975 -- San Jose State (5-7)
973 -- Illinois (5-7)
973 -- Rice (5-7)

Of note, KSU could still finish as 6-6 and make this moot for them. They play at 7-4 WVU this weekend.

RE: Your Bowl Eligibility Watch thread
Illinois has a high APR for a group that has been through all that turmoil. Impressive.
