and i think campbell will do pretty well at isu. the expectations will be modest and they were in a lot of games this yr against one of the nations toughest schedules (oklahoma, baylor, tcu, toledo, iowa, okla st, texas, etc...). i expect campbell to show in 4-5 years that he can build a winner which for iowa st might be like 8-5. then, move on to a major job.

8-5@ISU with a win over Iowa will get MC Sainthood in Ames.

He needs talent, which he doesn't have and won't have for at least 4 yrs, by then he might not be at ISU. Look for a good season if he wins 3 games. I wish him all the luck, tough job.

The last guy had a couple good recent recruiting classes. Their players in the NFL are all recent grads. Plenty of talent on that team.

No gimees in that schedule though. 3 games would be a good start and that counts on Texas still sucking. Kansas St and Ok. St look like possible swings into the win column. They replace an away against us with a home of San Jose. 5-6 wins would be great. Get an upset out of the rest of the schedule and people will be naming their corn after him.

CBS Sports lists Toledo as #25 in its final poll. 26 is Northwestern and Temple is 27.

Also of interest, in final CBS poll Arkansas was #38 and Iowa State #92.

Nice to see that the Rocket's got into somebody's top 25 poll. I thought that was about right for the Rockets. I was a bit surprised that Arkansas was ranked as low as it was.
