Cincinnati wins AAC Women's Soccer tournament
I'm not a big soccer fan but it's nice to see UC win a conference championship.

Seems kind of odd that a match that takes forever to play is decided by one on one kicker vs goalie mini-games. But that's how soccer works I guess.

Guarantee that if this was any other school, the thread would have been up here long before and many congratulations would already be here. Oh well.

Congratulations UC and the Bearcat Women's Soccer team. And good luck in the NCAA national tournament!

That's exciting. Our women at Tulane could win the bowling tournament.

Congrats. UC women's soccer was very impressive in the conference tourney, beating both nationally ranked AAC teams (UCONN and USF). All three teams are capable of making a deep tourney run. The selection show is today at 4:30 PM. Here is the link:

Thanks, Husky and Invisiblehand... It is appreciated. And thanks, Sava...though you still managed to turn it to a Tulane thing.

I wonder how the other AAC fans would react if UC managed to win the NCAA Championship... Oh well, I hope we get to cross that particular bridge down the road.

Ya, fourth year in a row USF women have come in 2nd and lost on penalty kicks. Its just devastating that we get so close each year, but I am proud of both of our soccer teams. So far USF is in the top 2 in both for the AAC and we have several other sports we will be competing for the championship. I think we have a great chance to be the highest rated overall program in the AAC again and move up a few spots in the overall rankings.

Congrats to the UC women for winning the AAC. Four teams from the AAC made it to the NCAA tournament: UC, UCONN, USF, and UCF

I'd have said congrats sooner but UH soccer is depressing. We actually improved this season and still went winless in conference play (0-9) and only scored 4 total goals in those 9 games.
