When they have threads about us stickied at the top of their board and multiple page threads about the UL-ULM game, it is obvious that they care nothing about us! Poor @ruston boys.

1912. They came to town with the dreaded air raid offense but a S. Louisiana monsoon toad-strangler made it purely a ground game and we won on a safety. Did you guys play them that year too?

My University was about 50 years from existence then. And yet with all they history we still beat you in our first FBS season. So much for the head start meaning anything.

This is a bigger game for USA in getting bowl eligible. I say that looking at who each team has left to play. if USA loses they would have to at a minimum beat App or GS to become bowl eligible

LOL....even if they lose to you, they're a better team. Don't worry, if you forget, they'll remind you.

When did S. Alabama play its first FBS season anyway?

I misled a bit there. I was referring to App St. Apologies to all affected.

Our first full FBS season was 2013, when we beat ULL. Our first bowl eligible season was last year, and we went bowling.

We were bowl eligible in 2013 but did not receive an invite.

We could have only gone bowling if there weren't enough 6 win teams. IIRC.

And there were more than enough because we were eligible, were 6-6 and sat home.

Naw, we were in our first non-transition year (transition year was 2012) and we could have gone bowling at 6-6 if we were picked in 2013. We weren't obviously.

GO JAGS!!!

That would be 1996. Nineteen years and an 8 game losing streak ago.

Think about that. Since this year's senior class was 2 or 3 years old in 1996, no current Cajun player has ever witnessed a ULL victory over La Tech. At least not one that they can remember. No, all these players have ever known are the whippings. The whippings by an average of 30 points that Tech has put on them over the last two decades.

But enough of that, let's get back to important things. Things like water towers that proudly state that Ruston is the "Home of Louisiana Tech".

Don't forget the name calling and the butt hurt over said name calling.
