Crying will get you nowhere. I don't see how Cincy is a solid lock for #11 in Big 12 expansion. They are just fine with being mediocre and wanting a P5 payday.

Because 1 season on the field means squat in either direction. Look at the trend that happens with regards to expansion:

2013 - UCF wins a BCS bowl and they are the talk of the town for expansion
2014 - Memphis bursts onto the scene and is the hot ticket
2015 - You guys are all the rage this year
2016 - My money is on Temple being the chosen one next year.

It is an awesome feeling when your school comes into the conversation and you will get very excited, but Bearcats, Tigers, and Knights alike will tell you it's very exhausting and disheartening. And don't try the whole "this year is different because of ____" because we all thought the same thing yet here we are.

Temple returns 4 Def starters and 6 Offense. Including losing Tyler Matakevich. I think Temple will go through what ECU is going through this year.

RE: AAC Twitter
All this whining about the call is wasted effort.

Here's a pic of the PI on Ayers on the TD catch:

Oh yeah, there was none. It was a makeup call that took 7 points off the board. Turnover next play. Karma worked itself out. Get. Over. It.

RE: AAC Twitter
summary of the calls in the game:

1a) the no call on the false start was bad..BUT IT BENEFITED CINCY
1b) farrows original td should have stood as called, there wasn't a legit angle to overturn that "without a reasonable doubt"
2) there was a legit facemask the ref, just announced the wrong number (92 not 14)
3) the PF calls were all legit
4) they gave cincy a phantom PI that was a 14 point swing that took away a 3 score lead and made it a 3 point game

but yet its the cincy fans that are non stop whining about the refs

Meh. The refs were bad (Both ways), but there were touchdown passes thrown perfectly that our receivers couldn't hold on to that day. Between abnormally dropped passes, and the lack of a run game, we lost this game.

agree, bad calls both ways. I think we lost the game, and I think that we were better, but this is why you play the game.

I hear this after every Cincy loss. You guys were the better team against Temple, Memphis, BYU, and Houston. Last time I check the better team usually wins. This line of thinking from Cincy fans screams loser attitude.

I didn't say we were the better team. Houston clearly won, and dominated the 3rd quarter. The game would of ended differently though if had a run game/caught those passes. But the whatifs can go any which way.

Cincy came very close to beating Memphis in our shootout game. The crucial late fumble call was extremely close - I was sweating blood and feel very fortunate to have that win. The Bearcats are far better than their record indicates.

It sucks having the record we do have after all the hype at the start of the season... :(

UC lost because we play sloppy, undisciplined football and our head coach is retired on payroll.

No dog in this fight, but offensive player can't touch the face mask of a defensive player. It's grossly under called especially on stiff arms. But, it is supposed to called, illegal hands to the face.

you also cant push a player forward from behind and that happens every play...

and that rule was made for Oline/dline and blocking the face upwards and it must be for a "prolonged" amount of time ..that rule was never meant to address stiff arms

as long as you arent grabbing the facemask you can stiff arm a helmet as a skill player, it isnt grossly under called it just isnt called at all

there are a lot of vague rules in the ncaa/college that can classify many things a penalties but those vaguee rules are meant for specific situations

RE: AAC Twitter
Too many mistakes by the Bearcats like always the past few years.

Kiel is going to be a better pro QB than a college QB. His game is arm strength and accuracy down the field in tight windows. The college game is mostly about taking what is given to you and not taking chances.

In any case, I thought Houston played well.
