Houston would be picked due to AAC competition level now and market size. I mean, they're not stupid, networks are all about making lots $$$ and market size will attract them to it, IMO.

I was referring to the CFP rankings.

Houston was #25 in the CFP last week and then barely squeaked by a mediocre Cincy team at home, needed some generous refereeing to do it. The CFP committee might not be very impressed with that and they might lose their toehold in the rankings. We'll see.

That is quite the punishment for losing this late in the season. Michigan State and TCU dropped 8,9 spots also after their first loss.

Yeah, seriously...did you even watch the game to make such a comment? I won't say the refereeing was in anyone's favor, it was just pretty bad in general. Cicny got bailed out a few times as well, with made up calls and no calls.
