I have to give the MAC some credit for being miracle workers.

I honestly don't know how those programs continue to put competitive teams on the field with almost no one in the stands. It's amazing to watch fairly good football being played in what sometimes look like empty stadiums.

I'm sure that's going to draw every east/west/norhtern Michigan and Illinois resident's ire, but I'm actually complimenting them on being able to fund reasonably competitive teams on minimal income.

I was disappointed that the Memphis/Tulane game last year in NOLA was held in the Smoothie King Center. Tulane has a pretty campus and the Fieldhouse is a cozy and unique place to watch college basketball. It is a different experience than watching the Tigers play at FedEx Forum.

The fieldhouse now has a modern scoreboard in it. Small victories :D
