He waited for A&M. I expect the same from Herman.
When he is standing at the podium with a Gamecocks ball cap on we can pick this back up then...

Would that make you happy? As if us losing a coach would bump Cincy above us in the pecking order of things. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. We've produced as many, if not more star coaches in the past decade than any program in the country. We'd just find the next budding star and keep on rolling.
Enjoy your crybaby retread.

no...whether you have Herman or not makes no difference to me.
You can have Tubs if you want. Maybe he can be the UH golf coach?

RE: Houston coach still West Sider at heart
As long as we can hire the next Briles, Sumlin or Herman and avoid the Levine's we will be fine.
Fortunately Houston is a GREAT place to build a resume. Recruits within walking distance, new stadium, commitment to excellence, etc. a great up and comer can make a name for himself here. But most of the big programs want to see a coach establish a history of winning and recruiting.
I think Herman is here at least one more year. If we make a conference change or Fertida really wants him to stay awhile longer then he will.
