Maybe we do but overall this team is way down compared to previous iterations. Our backcourt is the worst it's been under pastner unless you think last year was better. We lost a lot of talent and didn't replace it with anything substantial other than a couple of freshman, who will have a lot of adjusting to do

All of the teams we play are good teams that are well coached (he should know since the coach is a dear, personal friend of his)

Yup. Wouldn't be surprised to see Damon take over as the interim, mid-February. Season could be over by then, might as well see what he can do before making a long term commitment. Especially if it's obvious you're going to fire Josh...no sense in waiting.

Nothing would surprise me anymore. It's probably not likely, but if things go south and it becomes obvious that CJP is going to be fired, I could see the move being made

Possible. While our football team's success has temporarily, taken some of the scrutiny off the basketball program, it might also cause increased dissatisfaction about January-when the FB team's playing in a major bowl game-if the basketball team is mired in SSDD.

Honestly we have no data...

When you flip your entire roster seems like every year it is tough to figure what or how good you will be.

Only way I see Damon taking over is if we are under 500 mid season and not looking any better.
