Yeah, we've got them in Jonesboro in 2017. Miami cannot afford to pay the prices most us would want for a guarantee, so they have to go on the road... Sounds similar to how we got Missouri to come this year. Catch them in a situation when there are few teams left with holes to fill in the schedule, and hold them hostage until they sign.

Very jealous if this happens. We GS fans keep waiting on some type of home and home remotely like this

We got #17 Missouri at home in our 2nd full year in FBS... And Oklahoma state soon after.

What's your AD doing?!

They have a significant disadvantage called the Triple Option.

That and you guys moved to FBS at a different time, when P5 at G5 games were more common.

If App gets Miami our fans voice will grow even louder in demanding some quality home and homes

Miami coming to 2 SBC schools.......The U ain't back.

I guess they would replace NC Central, that would be huge!

It should. Having issues with P5 teams is understandable, it took us 11 years to get a P5 to Jonesboro...and another 14 after that to get another, but the best you guys have gotten is Western Michigan, and thats not good.

If this is true, Doug Gillin is an absolute treasure, even moreso than I already thought he was.

That's an awesome get. A very winnable game.

We have Oklahoma State coming to town in 2017.

Eh, they won't play us either if it makes you feel any better. But we've been able to load up on MWC and AAC programs, so I am not sure what your AD is waiting on there...

In a year's worth of work Gillian and his staff have done more than Charlie did in his last 3 years, and Charlie did a great job, took us to a level we had never been, but man, Gillian thinks big, he is trying to run the program like a top P5 school. If he pulls this off, that's 2 ACC schools in just our 3rd year in the FBS. Never thought that would happen. Even if this falls threw, just to get Miami to consider traveling up the mountain is a win

Wow, this would be pretty awesome. I've been hoping for some H&H's with winning G5 teams. Marshall was good example. I've hoped for some AAC programs like Cincinnati, Memphis, Houston, ECU (of course), and/or UCF/USF.

But Miami? Wow. They're really the perfect kind of P5 program to get one of these. We have almost no chance, unless maaaaaybe a 2-for-1, getting a home game against a school that averages 70,000+. But Miami carries about the biggest contrast between huge TV ratings and comparably low home attendance. Matter of fact, I would not be shocked if our home game, if it happens, would draw more people than their home game would.

Best part is that App would have a decent shot to win this game.
