With 3 teams ranked and 1 receiving votes, we share a great sense of excitement and pride at AAC meeting @American_Conf

RE: AAC Meeting?
They are meeting to see if they get enough votes to kick Tulane out.

Also, Tulsa is presenting a plan on how they are going to raise funds for some aluminum bleachers for the municipal park they play in. Apparently visiting fans have flooded Aresco with nastygrams about having to watch games there on blankets in the grass.

Meeting to publicly disassociate the conference from the JackBoyz moniker and censure houston for rapant stupidity

Other conferences have had meetings in the past week (or will so in the next week or two). They are choosing agenda items for their big meetings in the Springs.

That's why who you have as members in your conference is very important. It allows Presidents to rub shoulders with each other and talk about other things such as research dollars and coordinating things. That's why I say no Boise they have nothing to offer academically, just above being a community college. You are the sometimes the company you keep.

No, he's an emo fan who can dish it out...but can't take it himself.

Cindy won a few games, so he's back.

Tulane is 11-4 all time vs Cinci, no wonder Cinci is stuck in the conference of misfit toys.

RE: AAC Meeting?
Tulane is not going anywhere. It is the top academic university in the AAC along with Navy now moved up to number 41 in the nation. Tulane's prestige is known around the world and particularly in Latin America.Do not start knocking other AAC teams on this website. Tulane was accepted into the Big East by a unanimous vote in all sports by both all the football and Catholic basketball schools in the conference . Get it! Tulane and Cincy go way back to theb Metro and Bob Huggins and our Perry Cllark but I will only say positive things about the teams in the AAC.

how do you know it was a unanimous vote???
no reports were ever released of the votes. some in the c7 had to vote for tulane (or there wouldnt have been enough votes), but there are signs that some of the c7 didnt support tulane...i know 1 c7 AD said he wished we had waited before deciding to invite tulane

if you have other evidence thats fine, would love to read on it

Cool, Oklahoma bathtub. Thanks! COGS

I think its a meeting to see who is the leader in leading. UC, Memphis, USF, UCF, UConn and Houston fighting like the newsrooms on Anchorman.

That's a premium hole there, that and a 30/50 RV hookup for $40 a day.

I've knocked Tulane in hope they will get there FB act together. New Orleans is a nice venue and historical city and Tulane is a top academic school, gives a good excuse to go New Orleans once
every 2 years

What' funny is that when Tulsa basketball was consistently good we played in a couple of different municipal/county facilities. You might be on to something. Abandon Skelly (we've only been there 75 years) and find a city owned place.

Its cool if we all sit on blankets, right?

No Friday games though. No way the city lets us use a potential football site on high school footbal day. 03-drunk
