Fleck has created something here at WMU that coaches want to be a part of. I'm willing to bet they had a lot of interested candidates when these guys left, and it wasn't tough to find a good qualified replacement.

Western Michigan: Per sources, Florida International defensive line coach Tem Lukabu will join the Western Michigan staff as linebackers coach. Lukabu spent one year at FIU and worked with P.J. Fleck with the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2012.

Lukabu played for Coach Pinkham at Colgate from 2000-03 and was conference DPOY in 2002 and 2003. Coached with Pinkham and Fleck at Rutgers and then again with Fleck at Tampa Bay. Very solid hire.

Lukabu sounds like good hire. Must be getting big pay boost to leave Sunshine State for Snow Belt though.

Jake Moreland apparently going back to Air Force.
