Could be a different 'run' of clones. I don't remember much from those last 3 horrid movies but it did seem that a different Prime could be used to produce different Clones. I mean it was a big facility!
I think these will be huge. Primarily because the stories look like they are going to be focused on 'humans' as opposed to relying on CGI like the last 3. Plus the original actors are light years (see what I did there) better than the others. Except Natalie Portman. She's on my Hall Pass list
Also, it seems like they are returning to a John Williams type soundtrack score

Virtually all of these Star Wars films made since 'Return of the Jedi' have been trash. 'Phantom Menace' in particular was the worst since it was a repackage of the original. Lucas is doing everything he can to cash in before it's all over. The whole Star Wars universe would be much better in book form than as movies if you truly enjoy getting into these types of stories.

I'm not a Star Wars FAN, but I do like the idea of Star Wars. I enjoy Star Trek much more because I think that 'universe' is much more believable and IMHO it always focused more on plot lines and characters. Star Wars technology seems so much more clunky and lacked forward thinking - to think after all of those years that armaments would look very similar to weaponry seen in the 70's and 80's except replacing projectiles with lasers. Contrast that to Star Trek technology that was truly forward thinking with a tiny hand held 'gun' that could wreak havoc, and they 'predicted' the cell phone!

I have to agree on all points... Star Wars died on that Ewok planet... so lame. I thought it was lame as little kid.. I didn't even bother to watch the 5th and 6th installments. Hans Solo was a hell of a fun character though.

Don't want to spoil it for everyone....so don't read ahead if you don't want to know:

The original stormtroopers were clones. The stormtroopers in VII are "First Order" Stormtroopers. VII takes place around 30 years after VI. The First Order is made up of leftover Empire "bad guys" from VI so they are not like the original troopers. There are several new types of troopers in the new film as well...Captain Phasma is chrome and not white and leads a new special unit.

Side note, Lucas wrote the originals including look of the uniforms/ wardrobe and general plot, based on happenings of WW2. The Empire didn't look like the Nazis just by chance.

As far as the OP, every writer/director injects their politics into their films, some are more subtle than others....Abrams is a big lib but this dust up is just stupid.
